No Kid Hungry is a nonprofit organization that is working to ensure no child goes hungry and that they each get 3 meals a day. With the Christmas Holiday coming soon I think this is a perfect time for such a nonprofit to be promoted. Kids deserve to have the nutrition they need, and now is the giving season. 

I included the notebook to show how kids might have trouble learning and writing in school when they face hunger. The fork represents that desire for food, as it's an eating utensil, and the hands represent the child's hand reaching out for food they don't have. The faces on the apple are actually similar to the actual logo for No Kid Hungry, as it's an apple core and if you look closer there are faces on it, of a child.
